Sharpness
f/2.8: Very soft with low contrast and a fair bit of spherical and chromatic aberration.
f/3.5: Sharpens right up with lots of contrast and only a little bit of spherical aberration.
f/4: Sharp all over with nice contrast and only a very tiny bit of spherical aberration.
f/8: Sharp all over with nice contrast.

Vignetting
A little bit of vignette at f/2.8 which quickly leaves by f/3.5 and almost all gone at f/4.

Bokeh
The blur is not very good and a bit harsh and distracting in contrasty areas.

Distortion

It has a little bit of pincushion distortion but not too bad.

This lens is better than I expected and would be fine for shooting landscape photos when stopped down. For portrait work it’s not the greatest at f/2.8 and the background blur is fairly harsh and distracting.

It’s a really well built lens and mine was in a M42 mount which is nice. The focus was a little stiff but it could be from not being used much since it still looked new. If you stumble upon one for under $50 then it might be worth considering.
