Sharpness

f/2.8: It’s fairly soft with quite a bit of coma and spherical aberration causing low contrast.
f/3.5: Sharpens up a tiny bit with still low contrast and coma and still lots of spherical aberration.
f/4: Sharpens up nicely with a little spherical aberration, but better contrast.
f/8: Pretty sharp with great contrast.

Vignetting
A little bit of vignette at f/2.8 slowly clearing at f/3.5 and and then quickly clear a lot around f/4 and basically gone at f/8

Distortion
There is a little bit of barrel distortion common for a 35mm.

This lens is not the best 35mm f/2.8 around, but stopped down this lens takes off and is incredibly sharp. It would make a great landscape lens if you shoot at smaller apertures. Wide open there is quite a bit of coma and spherical aberration which lowers contrast and looks hazy.

Mechanically this lens is prone to the aperture ring getting play and wobbling but this doesn’t really effect anything much. The focus is a little stiff, and the lack of a rubber focus ring can make it a little slippery.

Stopped down this lens is fantastic, but I wouldn’t go out of my way looking for one.
