Sharpness
f/1.8 Nicely sharp for wide open with a little softness, a little chromatic aberration and really good contrast.
f/2 Sharpens up really well with great contrast and a little chromatic aberration left over.
f/2.8: Very sharp with fantastic contrast and no chromatic aberration.
f/3.5: Sharper yet.
f/4: Sharper yet.
f/8: the beginning of a little diffraction.

Vignetting

There is a fair bit of vignetting at f/1.8 and quickly clears around f/2.8 and gone by f/3.5.

Bokeh

The blur is decent and and only a little distracting.

 

 

Distortion

Amazingly straight with very little visible Barrel Distortion.

Want a fantastic 55mm lens and don’t mind manual focus then this lens is a bargain. For wide open the lens is really sharp with only chromatic aberration causing some image loss, but stopped down to f/2 the lens is fantastic!
