This lens is a disappointment because it seems they put more effort in making the lens a macro lens that they forgot about optical performance. Or perhaps it was so terrible they had to make it a macro lens to sell it. Either way this lens is not very useful at any stop because once it starts to sharpen up you now have to deal with diffusion at smaller apertures.
Perhaps I have a poor copy but this lens performed really poorly. However, the build quality is solid and very easy to use.
If you stumble upon one try it out because it could be a good lens and I just have a bad copy. If there are better copies out there then a 28mm macro is a great lens to have.
