This Chinon 55mm f/1.4 Auto is fantastic mechanically and optically. There is not a whole lot of talk about this lens and probably for one reason. The rear element sticks out a fair bit and can hit the mirror on certain cameras if your using it on a DSLR with an adapter. However moving the focus away from infinity makes enough room to shoot or with the mirror up.
The Pentax Super Takumar 50mm f/1.4 Asahi is another amazing example of a really well built M42 Manual Focus lens which Pentax is famous for. If you don’t mind manual focus then this little lens is great for even today’s digital cameras with M42 adapters.

This Pentax SMC Takumar 55mm f/2.0 Asahi is a great little M42 Mount lens with great build and optics. Producing really nice bokeh, this lens is a bargain and are not too hard to find.
While this Non D Nikon 60mm f/2.8 Micro AF is a fantastic lens you might want to skip it and get the newer Micro D version unless you get a really good deal. There is a difference which was very evident after shooting 7 of these lenses together.
This Tamron SP 24-48mm f/3.5-3.8 lens is a really great lens in every way and can even be adapted to almost any SLR camera mount with the use of their Adaptall 2 mounts. The most trouble you will have with this lens is finding one with the original front lens cap and the front element not all scratched up.
This little Chinon 50mm f/1.7 Auto is a pretty decent lens with really great build quality and just works well.
This old Soligor 28mm f/2.8 Wide-Auto is a decent little lens for it’s day. It can produce some decent photos stopped down but it’s not worth getting too excited over.
The Mamiya Sekor 35mm f/2.8 is a nice little M42 lens suitable for landscape photography. It is also very sharp stopped down. Having the M42 mount is really nice because it can mount on almost any Digital SLR with an adapter ring easily found on Ebay!
